The Maybourne Riviera, a state-of-the-art hotel on the Côte d’Azur
The ultimate destination for seekers of exclusivity, sea and cutting-edge design

Majestic and effortless at one and the same time, perched on a crag high above the sea whose  rocks occasionally surface to blend with the stunningly futuristic architecture. The Maybourne Riviera is an incredible hotel overlooking the lovely town of Roquebrune Cap Martin on the Côte d’Azur. An awe-inspiring project involving world-renowned architects and designers who found their inspiration in the sinuous movement of the waves and the blue of sea and sky.

Art occupies plenty of space inside the hotel, beginning in the lobby with The Couple by Louise Bourgeois, along with explicit references to Le Corbusier, who was a regular visitor to this gorgeous stretch of coastline.

Flooded by the light entering through huge windows, all 45 rooms and 24 suites, with private terraces or balconies, offer breathtaking views of the sea, east towards Menton and Italy and west as far as Monte Carlo.

One of the most stunning features is the spectacular infinity pool, complete with its own restaurant headed by top chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten. But this is just one of four temples of culinary art that make The Maybourne a candidate for the most exclusive food destination on the Côte d’Azur. Of the others, two – Ceto and Riviera, are led by Mauro Colagreco, chef at the three-Michelin-starred Mirazur in Menton. The first is located on the top floor of the hotel – needless to say, the views are extraordinary – and offers gourmet cuisine based on fresh seafood; the second focuses on local dishes, including meat specialities, revisited with an extra touch of class. Last but not least, Asian flavours are to the fore with Japanese chef and sushi master Hiro Sato.

For guests seeking unparalleled relaxation, there’s also a Spa: seven treatment rooms, a hammam,   a sauna, a hairdresser and a Zen relaxation area.

In a word: memorable.
