The story of the café patisserie Balzola begins in the hills of Monferrato. Pasquale Balzola, a family ancestor left there, and in 1902, he took over a tavern in Alassio. Within a short time, the place became an icon of the city and that’s when the famous Baci di Alassio were created. Today you can still savour the taste of these home-made little cakes that delight adults and children.
