Officine Bocelli food court
04/02/2019
Restaurant, cafeteria and wine shop in Lajatico

In Lajatico, immersed in the Tuscan countryside, stands a food court with an exhibition area that promotes Tuscany, a land loved by renown tenor Andrea Bocelli.

Officine Bocelli is a multifunctional space where cooking, design and music coexist harmoniously in Lajatico (Pi) in the Tuscan countryside. Much more than a simple restaurant, Officine Bocelli is a place out of time born from the passion that Andrea Bocelli and his family nurture for the land in which they grew up.

The name Officine Bocelli derives from the ancient workshops of grandfather Alcide, who transformed what used to be an inn, into a commercial and farming activity. The same mechanical workshops, bought by the Bocelli family in 1867, are today a special place where you can enjoy a gourmet experience, focused on typical regional cuisine. The second floor of the Officine Bocelli is home to an exhibition space, dedicated to the career of the great tenor, from the beginning to the international awards that have marked, and continue to do so, the life of this great Master.

Officine Bocelli lets its guests delve into an elegant yet unpretentious space, where every corner has a story to tell about the Tuscan countryside and the Bocelli family. From breakfast to after dinner, Officine Bocelli offers new dishes and combinations made up of seasonal ingredients. Tuscan chef Matteo Cristiani is always ready to satisfy the most demanding customers with his creative ideas, which range artfully between tradition and innovation, giving life to modern and diverse lunch and dinner menus.

Officine Bocelli is a haven of peace, dedicated to anyone in need of a quiet lunch break or a tasty snack made of local produce, whether in the morning or the afternoon. In the evening the restaurant turns into an evocative dining area for special events, with excellent wines, strictly from the Bocelli cellars, combined with an ever-changing selection of dishes.
