Mugello Grand Prix 2024
24/05/2024
31 May to 2 June, a weekend to binge on for motorcycle enthusiasts

It’s one of the world’s most stunning circuits, winding naturally up and down the gentle Mugello hills that surround the course, and only an hour’s drive from The Mall Firenze.

Inaugurated in 1974, the Mugello circuit first hosted motorcycle racing in 1976, and in 1994 became the permanent home of the Italian Motorcycle Grand Prix, the stage for epic clashes between the world’s top racers. Five kilometres of pure adrenaline with 15 breathtaking curves, including the two Arrabiatas, and one of the most challenging straights in the championship. Famous names that have become legends thanks to their wins at Mugello include Valentino Rossi, Loris Capirossi, Max Biaggi, Andrea Dovizioso and Danilo Petrucci.

The protagonists of the 2024 competition are the world champion title holder Pecco Bagnaia and the current leader of the classifications Jorge Martin, as well as Marc Marquez, Enea Bastinini, Marco Bezzecchi, Maverick Vinales and Aleix Espargaro.

This year’s event is from 31 May to 2 June. As ever, Friday is devoted to free practise, Saturday to qualifiers and Sprint race (at 3 pm) and Sunday is the big race, starting at 2 pm.

But MotoGP at Mugello is a real party that never ends, because – as everyone knows – “at Mugello you never sleep”, with events happening day and night.
“The Woodstock of motorcycling”, in the words of Valentino Rossi, whose ocean of fans camp out on the hillsides and crowd the paddock, not to mention the Ducati stand on the Correntaio bend and the KTM stand on the Materassi.
There are drinks and concerts between Casanova and Savelli and on the Palagio bend. On Saturday, the autograph session with the MotoGP riders (scheduled from 16:30 to 19:30) will be followed by a DJ set with Hell Raton on the Correntaio stage, and before the race on Sunday (which this year coincides with Republic Day), there’s an exhibition by the Frecce Tricolore, and afterwards the track invasion and party with a DJ set from the podium.

An unforgettable weekend of non-stop thrills!
