Immersed in the heart of a pine forest, located directly on the Gigaro beach and facing the Golden Islands is the La Pinède Plage 4 **** hotel.
32 rooms, a “chic” restaurant by the sea and, under the pines, a private beach, a heated outdoor swimming pool, a tennis court.
The recently renovated rooms have the color of sand, pine trees and the Mediterranean: each one is clear, bright and relaxing. Most have a private balcony or terrace with the blue of the sea as a backdrop and, set on the horizon like a jewel, the islands of Port Cros and the Levante.
There is an atmosphere of serenity throughout the hotel. Here, everything is designed for absolute relaxation: immediate access to the private beach or the outdoor swimming pool, deck chairs in the shade of pine trees, and reading corners.
On the ground floor, the large lounge is inspired by the marine theme with its big baskets, fishing tackle and old ship models. The private beach is a true jewel of nature and authenticity: the sand of Gigaro Beach gently dips into the transparent water. Here you can find an absolute calm at 150 m from the road, one of the most peaceful corners of the Saint-Tropez peninsula, cradled only by the waves of the sea.
The chic La Pinède restaurant, open from early May to early October, offers a Mediterranean and Provencal menu throughout the summer. At lunch, in a relaxed atmosphere, you can taste fresh and local products; in the afternoon, in the shade of the pine trees or in the sun, you can taste a light snack, to be enjoyed with your feet in the water; finally in the evening, on the large teak terrace with soft lighting, you can enjoy refined cuisine and friendly service, in an idyllic setting facing the Golden Islands.
Guillaume Gesson is the Executive Chef of the restaurant since May 2020. This young chef knows very well the French Riviera and his cuisine full of flavors. Indeed, he continued his apprenticeship with renowned chefs such as Olivier Brulard in La Réserve de Beaulieu in Beaulieu-sur-Mer, Jacques Chibois in La Bastide St Antoine in Grasse, and worked for several years in La Résidence de La Pinède (now Cheval Blanc), in Saint-Tropez, as Vice Chef of the 3 Michelin star chef, Arnaud Donckele.
