The first to be restored were the water sources of the second half of the 19th century, from which the hotel takes its name. The places have maintained their historical and cultural identity: arcades, loggias and arches still adorn the buildings; the stone walls, the ceilings with wooden beams, the terracotta floors are typical of Chianti farmhouses. La Colonna restaurant menu includes meat and fish dished, ranging from veal and red shrimp to duck breast and scallops. An ancient stone column rises in the middle of the room, giving the restaurant its name.
