Antinori Experiences in Tuscany
08/11/2018
A journey in the land of wine

A selection of exclusive experiences designed by Antinori will imbibe you with Tuscany wine.

The ancient cellars of the Abbey, with vaulted ceilings and mighty walls, offers a refined home to the Badia a Passignano Chianti Classico Gran Selezione. Visiting these centenary and evocative places completes the tasting experience by letting you dive into the essence of Chianti Classico. At the enoteca of Badia di Passignano you will find a wide selection of Antinori labels, old vintages and special formats. Inside the Bottega you can savour a refined selection of wines, produced in the estates of the Antinori family, and other labels from both Italy and from abroad.

Fonte de’ Medici owned by Antinori is a small farmhouse in an ancient medieval village dating back to the 1400s, where hospitality is discreet and impeccable. An unforgettable place, nestled in the heart of the Chianti Classico and in the vineyards of Tignanello and Solaia. It owes its name to a fountain that refreshed the pilgrims on their way from Florence to Rome. The nearby Badia a Passignano, then a very powerful Vallombrosian monastery, testifies to the importance of these areas in bygone eras.

The historic Antinori’s Procacci is located at the heart of Florence, in the ancient and glamourous Via de’ Tornabuoni. The eatery, founded in 1885 by Leopoldo Procacci, boasting unpaired historical, artistic and artisanal heritage, quickly garnered fame among the Florentines with its truffles-based menu, a Florentine tradition that has stood the test of time. In 1925 it received the Royal Coat of Arms from King Vittorio Emanuele III, with the Royal Patent. Procacci lets you taste a light aperitif from the excellent selection of wines by the glass accompanied by the traditional Procacci sandwiches. The wine list includes the iconic Marchesi Antinori, carefully selected for glass tastings.
