Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters 2024
03/04/2024
From 6 to 14 April the historic clay court tennis tournament

Now in its 117th edition, it is one of the oldest tournaments played on clay courts, founded in 1897 and, since 1928, held in the elegant Monte Carlo Country Club with breathtaking views of the sea of the French Riviera. One of the nine ATP Masters 1000 titles, the most coveted trophies in men’s tennis after the four Grand Slams and the Nitto ATP Finals. Rolex has been a sponsor of this thrilling event since 2006 and main sponsor since 2009.

Tennis mania is skyrocketing and many eyes will be focused on this challenge which brings together the top international players. From world number one Novak Djokovic – the first Golden Master in the history of tennis, i.e. the first to have won all Masters 1000 titles at least once – to the Italian Jannik Sinner (Rolex ambassador) who following his historic victory over Djokovic in the Australian Open semi-final, which he went on to win, is currently leading the Olympics Race, the ranking of points scored starting from mid-June last year, and in second place in the ATP ranking, before Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz, also at the Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters. Also with them, Daniil Medvedev, Alexander Zverev, Andrey Rublev, winner of last year’s tournament, and Rafael Nadal, who holds the record for consecutive victories in the tournament, from 2005 to 2012, plus 3 other first places. Also returning are Stefanos Tsitsipas, winner of the Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters 2021 and 2022, Lorenzo Musetti and Taylor Fritz, all Rolex ambassadors, like the legendary tennis player Björn Borg, three-time champion in Monte-Carlo, who in 1972 set the record as youngest winner of a Davis Cup match, for which he holds the most consecutive victories.

The tournament will be broadcast on Eurosport, Sky Sport Arena, Sky Sport Uno and streamed on NOW.
