You can start your day with a delicious crêpe suzette from the famous Café de Paris in the magnificent Place du Casinò, and maybe come back in the evening to try your luck.
After a stroll among Art Nouveau wonders and modern developments such as the exclusive Yacht Club, you will soon reach the ancient heart of the city, Monaco’s old town. There you can visit the Saint-Martin Gardens and the Cathedral. At 11:55, do not miss the changing of the guard ceremony at the Prince’s Palace, but also the monumental Oceanographic Museum, one of the oldest aquariums in the world featuring more than 6000 animal species.
For lunch, try the fresh oysters of Les Perles de Monte Carlo at the port of Fontvieille, and then you are ready for the Princess Grace Rose Garden, a delightful experience from mid/late April until June.
To finish the day, you can watch a show performed by the Ballets de Monte-Carlo, and then have dinner in one of the many Michelin-starred restaurants located within the city, including two at the Hôtel de Paris: the three-Michelin-starred Louis XV – Alain Ducasse or if you want to enjoy dinner with a view, Le Grill on the eighth floor.
On the Second day, why not enjoy some sun and relaxation at Nikki Beach on the panoramic rooftop of Fairmont Monte Carlo? You can also visit the Japanese Garden, an unexpected oriental oasis within the city and then have dinner with a sea view at COYA Monte-Carlo and perhaps a night enjoying the atmosphere of the nearby Jimmy’s, Monaco’s most popular night club.
