International mens fashion is again in the spotlight in Florence, starting from Fortezza da Basso, the historic headquarters of Pitti Uomo that will be the venue of incredible events from 10 to 13 January 2023. New collections and the opportunity to discover all the latest trends, fashion shows, events in the city and theme salons, including acclaimed events such as I GO OUT dedicated to outdoor design, and two new events that go beyond fashion: the SIGN about the world of furniture and PITTIPETS dedicated to animals.

PITTIWAY: the new theme

Restarting, but how? The Pitti Uomo event aims to provide suggestions and ideas to understand the current fashion trends with tips and advice to interpret today’s mood and style.

THE GUESTS

The Guest Designer will be Anglo-Jamaican designer Martine Rose: sartorial craftsmanship with a clear and precise style which proposes modern and underground pieces of clothing. Her fashion show will be held on 12 January in the Loggia del Porcellino (at 7pm), where she will present the new AW collection 2023-2024, and there is no doubt that it is going to be the most spectacular show of the entire event. The Designer Project will be instead Jan-Jan Van Essche, with the first show of his brand: a fluid and basic idea of fashion in the spectacular setting of the Complesso di Santa Maria Novella (11 January, 5pm)

OTHER EVENTS

Among the most long-awaited events: Philocalie, the show of Pierre-Louis Mascia at Palazzo Antinori (11 January, from 6pm to 8pm); Chateau Orlando: a meeting with Luke Edward Hall, artist and designer founder of the brand in the Sala delle Nazioni of the Fortezza which houses one of his installations (11 January, 12pm); at Palazzo Pucci there will be the presentation of the new collection of an interdisciplinary design project made in Finland, Vain (11 January, at 9pm).
